All You Need To Know About Renting A Boat From Daily Boat Rental at Marina One 

Q. What do I need to rent a boat?

A. All you need to rent is a driver’s license, a credit card with available funds of $1000, adequate previous boating experience and be at least 25 years of age. Those born on or after January 1st, 1988 must also have a Boater Safety ID card. Additionally, the driver of the boat must be able to communicate with our staff without the use of a translator.

Q. Are reservations required?

A. We recommend a minimum of two hours notice and a few days advance reservations for weekends or holidays.

Q. What if I have no boating experience?

A. Daily Boat Rentals will be happy to recommend one of several licensed captains who offer their captaining services or private one-on-one training courses by appointment. Captaining services are paid directly to the captain. Each rental customer is also given a vessel orientation before they use any of our boats.

Q. What is included in the rental?

A. All the boats feature Bimini Top, Stereo, Cooler with Ice and all required USCG Safety Equipment. We also go over a chart of the local waterways with you before you leave the docks.

Q. Is fuel included?

A. Yes! Up to one full tank is included.

Q. Are your boats kept in good condition?

A. Yes, our boats are regularly maintained and stored indoors. All boats are thoroughly cleaned prior to each rental.

Q. Is insurance included?

A. Yes, our boats are fully insured. The charterer will be held responsible for the amount of the deductible for any damage to the vessel incurred during the rental period.

Q. Can I fish on the boat?

A. Fishing is permitted on our center consoles only.

Q. Can I bring pets?

A. No, pets are not allowed on any of our boats.

Q. What are the cruising limits?

A.  Limits are North to Boynton Inlet and South to Port Everglades (Fort Lauderdale inlet) and a maximum of 1 mile offshore if ocean use is permitted. The Keys and the Bahamas are off-limits. 

Q. How many hours does a rental last?

A. Daily boat rentals can be reserved for 4, 6 and 8 hours. The 8-hour rentals are from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and 6-hour rentals are based on availability.

Q. Do you offer overnight or weekly rentals?

A. Yes, we offer extended overnight rentals for anywhere from three to ten days. Additional terms and conditions apply.

Q. What is your cancellation policy?

A. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will result in a cancellation fee equal to 25% of the rental rate. Cancellations due to unsafe or severe weather will not result in a charge.
